The Nordic Women in Tech Awards 2025 was again a motivation-filled presentation of innovation, leadership, and advocacy in the Nordic region. The other major highlight was the Women in Tech Ally Award which was given to Bridget Burger as a result of her exceptional efforts to empower women in the technology industry. Bridget has been key in establishing more mentorship networks, enhancing support systems and making women in tech careers more visible in the region.
Her work shows how valuable allyship is capable of transforming the environment, building resilience in the community, and establishing the space in which women are able to not just venture into the technology sphere but also excel in leadership. Bridget was recognized as a core to the developing significance of cross-gender advocacy in creating a more robust and inclusive Nordic tech ecosystem.
The success of Anna and Bridget only supports the fact that Reykjavik University is gaining traction in the Nordic technology arena.
